Welcome to the Other Perspectives website accessible from the otherperspectives.io domain name, hereinafter referred to as "us", "we", the "Service".We are a social media analytics tool which serves as a way to gain insight on your competitors strategies, as well as insights on your own content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube. This page informs you on the data that we collect, use and disclose and the choices you have associated with such data. Your data is used to improve and provide for the Service. By using the Service you agree to the collection and usage of data in accordance with this privacy policy.

  1. Brief description of our services

Other Perspectives is a social media analytics tool which delivers a deep understanding and useful insights on other brands or businesses as well as one’s own brand or business. Other Perspectives provides the tools for analysing competitors’ social media as well as your own, benchmarking and reports that help achieve this.

We open new horizons for users to analyse social media networks, such as but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter; to establish connections and networking and encourage the exchange and distribution of information.

  • Contact details (e.g. email and password when you register for an Other Perspectives account)
  • Content data (e.g. text input, photos, videos).
  • Profile preferences (e.g. your timezone to make reports in your time).
  • Public analytics information (e.g. data about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube accounts that can be found in public access);
  • Private analytics information (e.g. data about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube accounts that can be processed only after you authorized Other Perspectives on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube);
  • Contract data (e.g. subject matter of the contract, duration, customer type);
  • Payment history;
  • Usage data (e.g. interests, webSites viSited, purchasing behaviour, access times, log data);
  • Meta/communication data (e.g. device IDs, IP addresses, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information).

We only use your data for ensuring that you are provided the best quality of Service or product. We do not share or sell your data. No special categories of data are processed, unless provided for processing by the user (e.g. in online forms).

Other Perspectives retains data collected by users for one hundred and eighty (180) days from the moment of disabling of access to the Service. Exception from this is the data that Other Perspectives requires to keep as evidence for legal, administrative purposes or in accordance with the laws and legislation in force. Besides what is stipulated above, users are also informed that:

Your information is protected by measures that we had implemented to prevent unauthorized access to our servers, Service and stored data. Our services are all encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. Our payment partner provides SSL encryption as well. We do our utmost best to protect users’ data and place great importance upon security & privacy, with that said, no one can guarantee 100% data security and protection.

As part of the payment process you shall be directed to a webpage or web Service that is hosted by the payment Service provider or its appointee. Any Personal Data collected by visiting this WebSite is controlled by Bright Market, LLC d/b/a FastSpring, 801 Garden Street, #201, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, United States of America (“FastSpring”).

We use FastSpring to collect payments made on the Service. The payment process happens on the Service. Any data that is collected through the payment process that is used and collected by FastSpring shall fall under the policies of FastSpring.

Types of personal data that may be collected during the payment process: name, email address, IP address, billing and/or shipping address, phone number, payment account information, and other information about you, submitted to verify who you are or to work to prevent fraud.

Google Analytics is a web analysis Service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of the Service, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google Services.

AdWords Remarketing (Google Inc.)

Intercom is a user database management service provided by Intercom Inc. Intercom can also be used as a medium for communications, either through email, or through messages within Other Perspectives.

Upon exercising any of these rights, users must send to Other Perspectives all the necessary data for their identification: name, email, connection identifier and possible physical mailing address. The application must also be accomplished by a valid photo of their identification card or passport and must clarify the address to which they wish to receive an answer. The application must be sent in accordance to the laws and regulations in place.

Other Perspectives agrees to answer within a maximum period of one (1) month following receipt of the complete application. Depending on the complexity and number of requests at the time of receiving the application, Other Perspectives may further extend the period by an additional two (2) months, as long as Other Perspectives informs the users of such delay within one (1) month of receiving the application.

In the event that Other Perspectives will not take any actions following a request, Other Perspectives will inform the claimant without delay at the latest within one (1) month of receipt of the request of the reasons for not taking action.
